Our Story

Women in the Window International provides comprehensive training for women in their unique context and culture so that local women leaders are equipped to train other women to fulfill their God-given potential.  We do so as part of our vibrant relationships and ongoing partnerships with indigenous, locally-led ministries in Africa, Asia, America and the Middle East.

In addition, we participate in collaborative and creative networks of Christian ministry established in some of the most difficult places on earth for the Gospel to spread. Yet, because of the training, we see women become life-changing and transformational agents of Christ’s love and power within their homes, churches, communities, nations, and beyond, as some serve across national boundaries and overcome barriers that we may never be able to overcome.

Our training is categorized in 5 distinct capacity-building strategies:

  • Heart – Spiritual formation
  • Head – Leadership development
  • Hands – Business and economic development
  • Health – Preventative health education
  • Advocacy – Human rights awareness and involvement
